A beautifully clear night at my parents' house in Presque Isle, ME. I'd almost forgotten what the Milky Way in all its glory looks like.

Great nights. This was the weekend of Rockland Astronomy's fantastic Northeast Astronomy Expo and Forum. Thus, this was also first light for some new toys - a Coronado PST (personal solar telescope) and a Televue 5x Powermate. Results are below, along with some deep space work that doesn't represent new equipment, but does reflect new techniques learned at workshops. I'll get these sorted into galleries soon.

First light for the ATK-2HS + 50mm SLR combination. On a regular camera tripod (no tracking).
About 4 degrees Fahrenheit outside, but very clear.
